"With over 18 years experience in the industry my emphasis is on delivering web solutions that are visually interesting, while offering a high level of functionality."
What I do
I collaborate with my clients in a partnership to achieve a unique website that suits their business, clientele and budget.
I am asked to join the business as a web designer and very often I become the consultant in web, marketing and general presentation of the company.
I have a very practical approach to business and discuss requirements and budget in a very open environment.
What I love
I am happy when I can make my clients successful and help them to look 'top notch' in the market place.
My own passion for my work often motivates my clients as well, they feel refreshed and full of energy to carry on with their business.
As art has always been an important part of my life I carry this with me in my projects and love the challenge to create an outstanding product.
The people I meet through my business are great. I develop a relationship of trust and respect with my clients, and we keep working together for years and years.
I love my industry as it is forever evolving. There is always a challenge around the corner, new trends in design, new functionality and lately, a whole lot of new gadgets to design for.
As a boutique style business I can work with a high level of integrity and allocate the time needed to do a proper job, rather than rush from one job to the next.
I love my office at the bottom of my garden, right next to the sheep in the paddock. No place is more peaceful and inspiring. Clients love to visit me here, plus I keep my overheads low and can pass on the savings to my clients.
Where I come from
I am German and have lived in New Zealand since 1997.
After finishing my arts degree at the University of Fine Arts in Berlin, Germany, I started my own graphic design studio in Berlin. We built the first websites in 1995, who remembers Netscape 1.1.?
In New Zealand I worked as a lecturer at Auckland's AUT, joined a New Media department in an Auckland agency for a few years before opening the doors of Saxer Design here, in Auckland.
